The 2019 Audi A6 spied on the streets of Pune, sans any camo.
The Audi A6 is due for an update. And, that seems to be on Audi India’s cards. We spotted this uncamouflaged A6 doing rounds on the streets of Pune.
The variant that’s seen here is the 45 TFSI, which has a 2-liter petrol engine in foreign markets. This engine develops 245 HP at 5000 RPM and 375 Nm of peak torque at 1600 RPM. Of course, there will be some diesel engines. We guess, 3-liter turbocharged V6 diesel engine. Also, all engines are expected to feature a 48V mild electric hybrid assistance for better fuel efficiency.
On the tech front, it will get the Audi Virtual Cockpit and top-notch interior materials. Audi might as well get the long-wheelbase Audi A6 L to the Indian market. This will rival the Mercedes Benz E-Class, which is available only in the long-wheelbase guise in India..
Expect the prices to start somewhere in the mid 50 lakh rupee mark. Upon launch, it will rival the Mercedes Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, and Volvo S90. The hotter S6 and RS6 versions will also follow with fire-breathing V8s.
