New BMW M2 launched in India at Rs. 1.03 crore

BMW India has introduced the latest iteration of the M2, priced at an ex-showroom starting cost of Rs. 1.03 crore. This two-door performance sedan now delivers enhanced performance and is available in four new exterior colors: Portimao Blue, Fire Red, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey.

Powering the new BMW M2 is a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an optional six-speed manual gearbox. This updated version generates an impressive 486bhp and 600Nm of torque, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in under 4 seconds. The top speed is electronically capped at 250kmph, but buyers can push this limit to 285kmph by opting for the M Driver’s Package.

While the exterior design remains largely unchanged, the new paint options add a fresh appeal. Inside the cabin, notable updates include a flat-bottom Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and the integration of BMW’s latest iDrive Operating System 8.5 for the infotainment system.

The upgraded M2 brings a combination of cutting-edge technology, luxurious interiors, and unparalleled performance, ensuring it remains a standout choice for driving enthusiasts in India.
