The 2020 Range Rover Evoque gets design language in line with its siblings and loads of new tech

Land Rover has launched the 2020 Range Rover Evoque in India. The baby Range Rover is now in its second generation after about 7 lakh plus global sales of the first-gen.  The new Evoque gets 2 trim levels, S and R-Dynamic HSE. The price for the entry-level S variant starts at INR. 54.94 Lakh while the higher R-Dynamic HSE starts at INR. 59.85 lakh.

Styling

2020 Range Rover Evoque

The 2020 Range Rover Evoque gets Land Rover’s latest design language and looks heavily inspired by the Velar. The styling changes include updated headlights, new grille, new sportier bumper. The side profile is very identical to the outgoing model with a sloping roofline. But flushed door handles give it clean lines and a premium look. Also new are the 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets new tail lamps that look like that of the Velar. The bumper is also upgraded to have a sportier look.

Engine

2020 Range Rover Evoque

The new Range Rover Evoque gets BSVI compliant 2 litre Ingenium Petrol and Diesel engines. The petrol engine is paired to a 48V Mild Hybrid System, producing 247 Hp and 365 Nm of torque. The diesel engine produces 177Hp and 430 Nm of torque. Deliveries for the diesel variants commence immediately while that of the petrol variant start later.

Interior and Tech

2020 Range Rover Evoque

The Evoque gets loads of new tech and features. It gets Land rover’s Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, controlled via 2 touch screens. There is a 380W Meridian Surround Sound System on the HSE trim, while the S trim gets a standard music system. It also gets 10-way electronically adjustable front seats, heated rearview mirrors, 40:20:40 split rear seats and a panoramic sunroof. The Evoque also gets features like Rear Traffic Monitor and Clear Exit Monitor for passenger safety in crowded conditions.
