2024 Toyota Camry launched in India; prices start at Rs. 48 lakh
Toyota has launched the all-new, next-generation Camry in India, priced starting at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the debut of the ninth-generation model in the country, which was first revealed in November last year. The car is available in six distinct colors: Cement Gray, Attitude Black, Dark Blue, Emotional Red, Platinum White Pearl, and Precious Metal.
Powering the 2024 Camry is a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor, delivering a combined output of 230bhp. This power is transmitted to the wheels through an e-CVT gearbox. Additionally, the Camry offers three driving modes—Sport, Eco, and Normal—for different driving preferences.
The design of the new Camry brings a fresh, modern look, featuring C-shaped LED DRLs, a sleek front grille, a wide air dam, and side air vents on the front bumper. The car is also equipped with new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, contrast-colored ORVMs, wraparound taillights, and a panoramic sunroof, adding to its stylish appeal.
Inside, the 2024 Camry boasts several premium features, including a 360-degree camera, a fully digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone climate control, and an ADAS suite. Additional features include a new steering wheel, EPB, wireless mobile projection, a heads-up display (HUD), a wireless charger, 10-way powered front seats, nine airbags, and rear seats with a recline function. The new Camry is offered in a single, fully-loaded variant, ensuring that all premium features are available in one package.
