Amaron Launches True 4Ah Battery to Power India’s New-Generation Commuter Motorcycles

Amaron®, the automotive battery brand from Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M), has announced the launch of its new Amaron True 4Ah Battery, designed specifically to meet the evolving power requirements of India’s feature-rich commuter motorcycles.
Launched under Amaron’s new campaign, “Modern Bikes Ki True Power,” the battery is built around a simple promise: as motorcycles become more technologically advanced, the power supporting these features needs to be equally dependable.
Engineered to deliver a true 4Ah output, tested as per JIS D5302, the new battery is designed to provide reliable starting performance and consistent power support for motorcycles with increasing electrical loads.
Meeting the Changing Needs of Modern Commuter Bikes
India’s 100cc–125cc commuter motorcycle segment is undergoing a significant transformation. Traditionally focused on fuel efficiency and everyday practicality, modern commuter motorcycles now feature technologies such as:
- LED lighting
- TFT instrument clusters
- USB charging ports
- Idle start-stop systems
These additional features have increased the importance of dependable battery performance, particularly during everyday urban commuting and frequent stop-and-go riding.
The Amaron True 4Ah Battery has been developed to address these changing requirements, offering dependable performance for daily riders. The battery comes with a 48-month pro-rata warranty.

Phased Rollout Across Eight Key Markets
The Amaron True 4Ah Battery is targeted at India’s growing 100cc–125cc commuter motorcycle segment and will be introduced in phases across Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
The battery will be available through Amaron’s network of franchisees, dealers and Amaron Pitstops across these markets.
