All new 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift

2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift

After four years of the launch of Creta in India, Hyundai has given a mid-life refresh to its successful compact SUV

Change in design

The highlighted change is the little-stretched front and the headlights. Also the daytime running lights around foglamps are a significant change on the front view of new Creta facelift 2018. The design is also added by the new skid plates at the front and rear which gives a more SUV look.

The rear section is also revamped with a new taillight design but LED lamps are removed. The new diamond cut alloy wheels give a more sporty appearance to the Creta facelift.

The interior of Creta 2018 is quite same as Hyundai cars with Beige and black combination of the dashboard but the car gets a new sunroof feature due to ongoing trend for SUV cars.

The new version of infotainment system can be seen with less glare and more stability on the interior of Creta 2018 facelift. For an additional feature, Hyundai gives a fitness tracker to its customers which works like a proximity key fob

The overall build quality is maintained in the new Creta which was considered to be great in the previous versions. Space and comfort was never a complaining point for any Creta launch, thus in the new launch too, it is not a complaining factor.

Engine and performance

Talking about performance, the Creta comes in only diesel option for entry-level 1.4 lite engine while it will come in two options for 1.6-litre petrol as well as a diesel engine. The 1.4-litre engine can produce power up to 90 PS and max torque can be 220Nm. While the 1.6-litre petrol engine has 123 PS output power and max torque of 150Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, can produce 128 PS power with max torque capability of 260Nm.

The 1.6-litre engine variant will be coupled with 6-speed automatic transmission while the manual transmission will also remain an option.

For city use, the new Creta is great too handle with instant braking and smooth steering experience. Even the fuel economy looks pretty good on paper.

Safety

Safety features such as anti-lock brakes, frontal airbags, ISOFIX child seat mount, traction control, hill-start assist, electronic stability program, side and curtain airbags can be seen in the top variant of Creta.
