Audi Q8 Launched In India; Priced At Rs. 1.33 Crore

Further to our post ‘Audi to launch Q8 SUV in India in January 2020‘, Audi India has recently launched all new Q8 in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.33 crore. The Ingolstadt based manufacturers’ first coupe-SUV will come with various range toppling specifications and marks Audi’s entry into the D segment vehicle.

Dimension wise, the all new Q8 comes with dimensions of 4.99 meters in length, 2.00 meters in width, 1.71 meters in height and comes with a wheelbase of 3.00 meters. The front fascia of the car receives a unique dual-tone treatment along with a sporty new octagonal shaped grille with chrome work.

The bumpers beautifully integrate 3D effect daytime running lamps, LED headlamps with HD matrix technology. The SUV sits tall on a large22-inch alloy wheels. The rear end of the vehicle sports LED tail-lamp and an LED light bar that extends across the tailgate. It also receives a roof-mounted spoiler.

Towards the inside, the all new Q8 comes with 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, dual touchscreen panel, digital instrumentation cluster. The car can be customized with S Line Exterior package or S Line Sports package, both of which will add unique features to the all new Q8. The S Line Extrior package adds exterior body kids while the S Line Sports package adds sports air suspension, flat bottom steering wheel and sports seats to the Q8.

Powering the Q8 is Audi’s BS6 compliant, 3.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine which is capable of producing 335 BHP of peak power and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is synced with 8-speed automatic transmission and comes with Quattro all-wheel drive system.

Audi claims that the vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds and can attain a top speed of 250 kmph. The car comes with 7 driving modes and an all-wheel steering system as an option. The All new Q8 can be customized with 54 exterior colours, 11 interior colours and 9 wooden inlays.

Priced at Rs 1.33 Cr, the all new Audi Q8 competes against Tesla Model X, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Maserati Levante, BMW X6, and Range Rover Sport.
