Hero Electric becomes the highest-selling EV brand in the country

Leading the electric revolution of two-wheelers in India, Hero Electric has emerged as the most preferred brand in the country with over 4 lakh EVs on road and a whopping 36% market share In the Indian EV segment today, according to latest JMK Research & Analytics, a boutique consultancy firm providing research and advisory services to Indian and International clients across solar, wind and e-mobility segment.

In the year 2021, Hero Electric has sold the maximum EV two-wheelers across major centres in the country notwithstanding the slowdown of the pandemic. Riding on the conducive policies by the Central and state governments, apart from rising fuel prices, the company sold over 65,000 scooters in the year starting January 2021. With a robust charging infrastructure with over 2000 charging stations and over 20,000 in the pipeline, the company had recently announced its expansion of its manufacturing facilities to manufacture over 1 million EVs by 2025.

The campaign aims at creating awareness and empowering millions of Indians to start their journey towards electrification with Hero Electric. It aims to create and offer the best of electric two-wheelers to the consumers.
