New spy images of the upcoming facelifted Hyundai Alcazar have recently emerged, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the model set to hit the Indian market later this year. Among the key features revealed in these latest spy shots is the refreshed LED taillights, sporting a distinctive vertical orientation. Despite being heavily camouflaged, certain visible elements include roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, twin-tip exhausts, and a high-mounted stop lamp.
In addition to these exterior updates, we anticipate that the refreshed Alcazar will boast revised front and rear bumpers, new upholstery, an updated grille, and a host of additional features, some of which were recently introduced in the 2024 Hyundai Creta.
Powering the new Alcazar facelift are expected to be the same tried-and-tested 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines, mated to six-speed manual and automatic transmissions as seen in the current model. This marks the first major update for the Alcazar since its debut, positioning it to compete more effectively against rivals such as the Tata Safari facelift, Mahindra XUV700, and the MG Hector Plus.
