Next-gen Datsun Redi-GO launch price Rs 2.83 lakh
Datsun India has launched updated Datsun Redi-GO hatch with BS6 compliant petrol mill at a starting price of Rs. 2.83 lakh. The car now is dearer by Rs. 3,000; the car is offered in six variants and is available in both MT and AMT gearbox. The car is offered in 6 color themes, these include- Vivid Blue, Ruby Red, Sandstone Brown, Bronze Grey, Crystal Silver, and Opal White.
The update car comes with cosmetic updates and inclusion of latest technology. The car underpins Renault-Nissan CMF-A platform and shares most of its technology with Renault KWID. All-new Redi-GO features a large front grille with redesigned headlamp unit with a large L shaped LED DRL housed in the front bumper.
The car now runs on a 14″ steel rim and receives a redesigned 5-spoke wheel cap. Other design changes include redesigned dual-tone rear bumper, LED tail lamps, and redesigned roof-rails and spoiler.
Towards the inside, the car receives all-black interior finish with 3-spoke steering wheel, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-window, park assist, etc. The car sees visible use of chrome in the center console and along the dashboard. The car now features bluetooth, and supports Android Auto, Apple Car Play and Voice Commands.
The car now packs a host of safety features which include- ABS with EBD, Dual Airbags, Rear parking sensors, etc. Redi-GO will be offered in two power trains; a 799cc 3-cylinder petrol mill in 5-Speed MT gearbox and a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol mill in 5-Speed MT and 5-Speed AMT gearbox.
The 799cc, 3-cylinder petrol mill is capable of producing 54 BHP of power at 5,600 rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm with a mileage of 20.71km/l, while the 1.0-liter petrol mill can produce 67 BHP of power at 5,550 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm and returns a mileage of 21.7km/l for MT and 22km/l for the AMT version.
The car is offered in 6 variants; D, A, T, T(o), T(o) 1.0-liter, and T(o) 1.0-liter AMT and are priced between Rs. 2.83 lakh to Rs. 4.77 lakh depending on the variant.
