Nissan Kicks exterior design unveiled

Nissan Kicks

Nissan has unveiled the exterior design of its much awaited upcoming SUV, the Nissan Kicks. The Hyundai Creta rivaling SUV’s interior and other specs will be revealed later.

For what we know right now, the Indian spec Nissan Kicks is marginally bigger than the international model. Nissan has revealed the exterior dimensions of the Kicks. The Kicks is 4384mm long, 1813mm wide and has a height of 1656mm. The wheelbase has also been revealed, which is 2673mm. All the dimensions are exceed those of the international market by a small margin.
The Indian spec Kicks also gets a aluminium skid plate, honey-comb mesh grille with the signature chrome V-shaped band.  The side profile is graced by sharp creases and a floating roof effect. Speaking of the roof, its colored in a bright orange shade, just as teased all along which further accentuates the design. The Kicks rides on diamond cut 17 inch alloy wheels.
The tail gate features a chrome band across the width, again new for the Indian spec vehicle. The rear resembles that of the Juke, another international SUV from Nissan.
On the whole, its a sprightly design. The Nissan Kicks is based on the Renault Captur, though its slightly bigger in dimensions than the Captur. Despite that, the wheelbase is identical.
Nissan has also revealed that the body of the Kicks is made of Graphene. Its an energy absorbent material which will help the safety aspects of the Kicks. Other features include prominent roof rails, ORVM Indicators, LED Headlamps (again, new on the Indian spec car) with boomerang shaped DRLs.
As mentioned earlier, Nissan will reveal the interior and other details on the Kicks later. Upon launch, the Kicks is expected to be priced from 9.5-16 lakh Rupees. It is expected to share the same drivetrain as the Duster, Nissan Terrano and Captur. The Nissan Kicks will rival the Hyundai Creta and its sibling, the Renault Captur

He loves to understand his ride fully and once he does, he loves to explore its limits. American Hotrodder David Freighburger is his icon, while he dreams to daily drive a 68′ Dodge Charger some day.
