Toyota Rumion CNG bookings reopen in India!

Toyota Kirloskar Motors made headlines last year when it temporarily suspended bookings for the CNG variant of its Rumion MPV in India. Priced at Rs. 11.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the CNG-equipped Rumion was available exclusively in the S grade. However, the automaker has now resumed bookings for this variant and introduced a fresh automatic option in the G trim.

Following this development, the Toyota Rumion expands its range to include petrol and CNG choices across three trim levels: S, G, and V, with both manual and automatic transmissions. Under the hood lies a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine, a unit shared with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. This engine, delivering a maximum power output of 102bhp and 136.8Nm of torque, is mated to either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. On the CNG front, the engine’s performance is slightly tweaked, producing 87bhp and boasting an ARAI-certified mileage of 26.11km/kg.

In addition to the Rumion updates, Toyota enthusiasts have something new to look forward to with the arrival of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. This crossover, now making its way to showrooms nationwide, offers five variants starting at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.73 lakh.
