India’s first electric superbike Emflux One unveiled at the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo

Emflux Motors a Bengaluru based tech start-up has come with something new in the country and has unveiled the very first electric superbike, which will be known as Emflux one. The Emflux team consist of 25 young engineers, designers and others from various fields. The newly showcased Emflux one gets its powers from a Samsung Lithium-Ion 9.7 kWh with a 60 KW AC induction motor, with power limited to 53 KW from the controller. With this motor installed the Bengaluru based bikemaker claims that the Emflux one is capable of achieving a three digit speed from the standstill in just 3 seconds. The superbike carries a top speed of 200 kmph.

The electric motorcycle is a full faired superbike and gets all the high-end components like Brembo brakes with dual channel ABS, single-sided swingarm, Ohlins suspensions and fully connected smart dashboard with artificial intelligence capabilities. The electronic superbike will be priced around Rs. 6 lakh (on road). The Emflux one will also be offered in three performance upgrades alongside with the standard version. The company is likely to start bookings and test rides of the Emflux after six months from now and the deliveries are expected in April 2019.

The motor produces 71 bhp of power and 84 Nm of peak torque, which has been electronically limited to 75 Nm. The design and circuits of the Emflux One have totally been developed in-house by Emflux motors. The Emflux one will have a range of 200 km on standard operating conditions. Emflux is also working on a naked street model, called the Emflux Two, which will be launched later.
