Its finally here! Ford drives in the New EcoSport at INR 731,200

One of the most awaited launches of the year, The New Ford Ecosport has been launched, starting with a tag of ₹7,31,200.

The Ecosport has always been hailed by enthusiasts as one of the best driver’s cars around. With spyshots and global reveals, the excitement around thus launch was boiling.

With the facelift, the Ecosport gets a more agressive facia with the headlights more distibctively pulled back and aggresive. With that, sits the large signature Ford front grille with the blue oval. The rear remains mostly unchanged.

Whats totally new here is the new lighter 3 cylinder, 1.5L TiVCT petrol engine, making a healthy 123 PS of power and 150Nm torque.

The diesel unit is the same old 1.5L TDCi diesel engine, making 100PS of power. The claimed fuel efficiency figures are 17kmpl for the petrol and 23kmpl for the diesel.

The interior gets a new floating 8-inch touch screen, now with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Compatiblity. Other features include rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, cruise control, hill launch assist and rear-view parking camera.
