KIA Seltos – A Complete Review

KIA is a South Korean carmaker owned by Hyundai Motors entered the Indian Automotive market with a Compact SUV named KIA Seltos on 22nd August 2019 with 16 different variants to offer. Even during the period of plummeting Auto Industry sales, KIA Seltos managed to stand against its rivals like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Nissan Kicks, Tata Harrier, and the all-new MG Hector. Till September 2019 a total of 13,990 units of Seltos have been sold making it one of the most successful SUVs.

Engine & Transmission

The KIA Seltos offers 2 variants in Petrol Engines with Manual Transmission and two with Automatic Transmission and single variants in diesel engine one with a Manual Transmission and the other with an Automatic Transmission all BS6 compliant. Petrol engines offered have a displacement of 1497 cc and 1353 cc producing a max power of 113bhp @ 6300 rpm and 138 bhp @ 6000 rpm respectively.

Fuel Economy

KIA Seltos promises a mileage of a range of 16.8 Kmph for Petrol AT and MT variants and 20.8Kmph for Diesel MT variants. The fuel tank capacity provided is 50 liters.
