Mahindra Thar open bookings come down by 29 per cent in 2 months

We have obtained the latest pending order book for Mahindra cars as of July 2024. In this article, we focus on the significant changes in the order numbers for Mahindra’s lifestyle SUV, the Thar, which have seen a notable decline.

As of last month, Mahindra has pending orders amounting to 42,000 units for the Thar. This marks a considerable drop from the 59,000 units pending delivery in May 2024, representing a reduction of almost 29 percent.

Despite this decrease, the Thar three-door model continues to attract new bookings, with 5,000 units added each month. This figure is expected to rise with the introduction of the Thar five-door, now officially named the Thar Roxx. This new variant has been partially unveiled ahead of its scheduled launch on 15 August.
