Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe to launch in India on March 3

Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch GLC five-seater coupe in India on March 3, 2020. The coupe had made global debut earlier in 2019. In India, the all-new GLC Coupe will be offered in 300 (petrol) and 300d (diesel) 4Matic variants.

All-new GLC Coupe features a redesigned front grille with redesigned LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. The car features dual-tone bumper with cladding on wheel arches, along the door sills, and towards the rear. It also features skid-plate at the front and skid plate with a diffuser at the rear.

There is the usage of chrome in the front bumper, body cladding and rear bumper. The car also comes with a chrome border along the windows. Towards the rear, the car features twin exhausts and wraparound taillamps.

Towards the inside, all-new GLC Coupe features 12.3″ instrument cluster,10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system with MBUX (Mercedes Benz User eXperience) feature. The interiors are plush and come with a well-laid dashboard. The car receives 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

Powering the all-new GLC Coupe are two BS6 compliant power trains. It sports a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol mill capable of producing 255bhp of power and 370Nm of torque and a 2.0-litre i4 diesel oil burner which can churn 245bhp of power and 500Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.

Once launched, the all-new GLC Coupe could be retailed at an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 60-65 lakh.
