Production-spec Mahindra BE.05 Interior spied

Mahindra is rigorously testing its all-electric vehicles under the ‘BE’ range, set to launch in the Indian market next year. Among the upcoming BE models is the entry-level BE.05, recently spotted revealing its interior details.

The BE.05 will boast an all-black cabin with silver accents and a piano black finish on the center console. The center console itself will be a floating design with storage space underneath. Key features on the console include a tall gear lever, a push start/stop button, a wireless charger, a cup holder, and a rotary dial for infotainment control, similar to the one found in the XUV700.

A standout feature of the BE.05 is its twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated BE logo and touch-sensitive controls. This design is reminiscent of the recent Tata models that also sport a two-spoke steering wheel with a glowing logo. The BE.05’s dashboard will feature a dual-display setup, flanked by AC vents and a center console armrest that separates the front passenger areas. An additional stylish element is the strap-like door grab handle, which adds a unique touch to the interior.

Rivaling the Tata Curvv, the BE.05 will measure 4.3 meters in length, embodying the coupe-SUV aesthetic. Furthermore, the Mahindra BE.05 is expected to be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, offering both front- and rear-mounted motor setups for different variants.
