Skoda Rapid Rider: Limited Edition Rapid launched at Rs. 6.99 Lakh

Skoda Rapid Rider will be available in two colors, Candy White and Carbon Steel.

Skoda India has launched the Limited Edition Skoda Rapid Rider, starting at Rs. 6.99 lakh pan-India. It gets additional styling highlights like black signature Skoda grille, Black finish to the trunk lip, Gloss Black finish on the B-pillar and black side foils.

On the interior, the Rapid Rider gets dual-tone ebony sand interior, with premium ivory slate upholstery. Additionally, it gets scuff plates with Rapid inscription.

Safety Features

The Rapid gets safety features like dual airbags and ABS as standard. More safety features include Parktronic rear parking sensors, anti-glare interior rearview mirror, rear windscreen defogger with timer, height-adjustable three-point seatbelts at the front, rough road package, and engine immobilizer with a floating code system.

Engine

The Rapid gets a 1.6-litre MPI DOHC petrol engine. It develops 105PS of power and 153Nm of max torque. It returns a fuel efficiency figure of 15.4KMPL.

Convenience

All Skoda vehicles come with a 6-Year warranty, and the Rapid Rider is no different. Skoda gives motor insurance, 24 x 7 roadside assistance, and an extended warranty under the Peace OF Mind initiative. Skoda India has also introduced a 4 Year Service Care Package which includes 4-year warranty, 4-year roadside assistance, and an optional 4-year maintenance package.

The Skoda Rapid rivals the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and sibling Volkswagen Vento in India.
