TVS has revealed the specifications and price of its upcoming BS6 moto-scooter NTorq. The all-new NTorq will be offered in 3 variants, Drum, Disc and Race edition and will be sold at Rs. 65,975, Rs. 69,975, and Rs. 69,975 respectively.
The all-new BS6 compliant NTorq will feature TVS’ latest BS6 compliant, 124cc, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine capable of producing 9.1bhp of power at 7,000 rpm and 10.5Nm at 5,500 rpm. The scooter would come with dimensions of 1861mm in length, 710mm in width, 1164mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 1285mm.
The scooter receives slightly larger fuel-tank and features LED-headlamp for the Race Edition. There are no other major changes in terms of looks or mechanical features. Other features include a telescopic fork, rear mono-shock, and 12-inch wheel with 100/80 section tyre at the front and 100/80 sections at the rear and offering a ground clearance of 155mm.
There are speculations that TVS may tune the fuel-injection system for Race Edition to offer slightly peppy performance than the other editions. The scooter would compete against the likes of Honda Dio.
