The heart of the Activa 6G is the 109.51 cc engine with fuel injection as a standard filament. The engine is capable of producing 7.79 ps of power and 8.79 nm of torque in comparison with the outgoing BS-lV Honda Activa 5G. It’s also got a new best start system which recently has added in the Activa 125. The estimated mileage on paper should be around 65 – 67 Kmpl. The total riding range of this scooter is around 300 km on a full tank.
Enhanced Smart Tumble Technology ( eSTT)
Just like the BS-VI Activa 125 engine, the new Activa 6G’s have come up with some smart technologies like HET ( Honda Eco Technology ) and Enhanced Smart Tumble Technology ( eSTT) to reduce friction inside in engine. The main changes in Acitva 6G come up with telescopic forks at the front replacing the age-old hydraulic unit. At the holes, it has 3 steps adjustable monotone and with standard filament, drum breaks are offered with CBS. The Scooter has 12-inch wheels rather than 10-inch wheels.
In terms of dimensions new Activa 6G measures 1833 mm in length and 697 mm in width and 1156 mm in height. It has a new front suspension. The 110 cc model has received an external fuel filler cap. Honda Activa 6G includes ground clearance of 171 mm and floor mat clearance 23 mm while the seat is 72 mm longer.
Honda Offerings to Customers
Honda is offering customers with a special 6 yrs warranty package ( 3 yrs standard and 3 yrs optional ). Honda motorcycle and scooter India had tied up with several banks and NBFCs to save up to INR 10,000 on interest and other features of BS – Vl. The Scooter is available in many colors variety like Glitter blue metallic, pearl spartan red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, black, pearl precise white, Metallic axis grey.
Price and Verdict
The Activa 6G BS-VI model is about ₹ 8,000 more than the BS-IV version. However, the rise in price is due to the extra features provided by Honda. The Price of the Activa 6G starts with ₹ 69,912 (ex-showroom Delhi). The performance of Activa 6G is insane. However, one should compare Activa 6G Scooters with other Scooters which are available in the market before buying.
